Starting from Auckland, we make our way down to New Zealand's capital Wellington through some of the North's hottest destinations! Discover the natural beauty, misty rainforests and pristine golden beaches of the Coromandel peninsula, take part in some wicked adventure activities in geothermally-charged Rotorua, get acquainted with the famous glowworm deep in Waitomo Caves, and stay alongside the beautiful Lake Taupo - a mass of water the size of Singapore!
There are more than plenty of opportunities to get the blood pumping whilst on this North Island holiday - choose to go skydiving, white-water rafting, bungy jumping and heaps more! Not really interested in that? No worries! Our tour guide takes you on a personalized tour of each location for FREE, showing you all the best spots that only the locals know about!
We've also thrown in some wicked inclusions - carving your very own 'tiki' pendant in Coromandel, entrance to Orakei Korako Thermal Geyserland, and an evening's entertainment at a traditional 'marae' complete with haka performance and 'hangi' feast. Where does this tour end?
For forward tours: Wellington CBD, at a place of your choice. You can also request to end the tour back in Auckland and skip out Wellington altogether. For reverse tours: YHA International, 5 Turner St, Auckland.
What ages are suitable for this tour?
As long as you are 18+, everyone is welcome! Most people who book with us are 18-45, but we have been known to have people in their 60's (and 70's!). As long as you are young at heart, you'll have a fantastic time.
How do your tours compare to bus passes?

How many additional activities would you recommend booking for this tour?
There is no rule to this – some people will choose lots, others will be content with the tour itself and the free or low cost activities that your tour guide will find for you along the road. For the 7 day tour we would suggest no more than one activity per location. If there is time, you can always book more activities whilst on tour.
