Your itinerary includes all of New Zealand’s hottest tourist destinations across the North and South Islands (as well as a few hidden gems) whilst ensuring you’re in the correct city for each of England's pool games.

All our New Zealand rugby tours have a maximum of 16 people which means a more personalised service, flexibility and the ability for us to show you loads more of our amazing country!

Our NZ Rugby tours are fully guided which means you have a expert local tour manager who is also passionate about rugby! All tours also include quad share accommodation, transport, continental breakfast, a guided tour of each location we visit, and the chance to customise your tour with a range of discounted optional activities.

Does the tour include match tickets?

Our Rugby Tours do not include match tickets. You can purchase supporter ticket packages which consist of all tickets for the England pool games with prices starting at $270 NZD to $790 NZD.

Or you can simply soak in the ambience and tournament vibe at the various supporter tents and bars which we will be in force at!

What should I expect on a daily basis?

We generally arise and have breakfast sometime between 8 and 9am, departing either at 9am, 9.30am or 10am (see each day for details). There are a couple of exceptions for good reason (e.g. we have to catch the ferry)!

On a drive day, we make sure that every journey is broken up with a variety of interesting stops. This not only allows you to stretch your legs, but introduces you to parts of New Zealand that not many travellers would otherwise find. Each of our Tour Managers is full with knowledge of secret spots and hidden locations!

On a day where we stay in one location, it doesn’t mean we won’t have anything for you to do! Your Tour Manager will always be taking you places and showing you new things, wherever you are. You are also welcome to take part in the many adventure activities that New Zealand has to offer. However, nothing is compulsory on our tours and you are free to go off by yourself if you wish to. Just make sure your guides know where you’re off to!

Your normal New Zealand Adventure Tours look quite extreme. Will the Rugby tours be like this?

No – the Rugby trips will cater for all types of people and you do not need to be an adrenalin nut! Whilst the adventure activities that we specialise in will still be available for all that come along on the Rugby Tours, nothing is compulsory and there are certainly enough alternative things to do and see!

What does breakfast consist of?

A continental selection of cereals, breads and spreads, fruit, yoghurt accompanied by juice, tea and coffee. Occasionally your guides may treat you to something a bit more substantial for those that want it! Bacon and eggs anyone?

What happens for lunch and dinner?

We don’t include other meals as everybody has their own tastes and budget. Saying this, more often than not our Adventure Tour groups will eat together and so this may be the same with our Rugby Tours. For dinner you have the choice of eating out (we have lots of suggestions) or cooking (every place we stay in has full kitchen facilities). Lunch is generally whilst on the road and often takes the form of a cafe, although there are always plenty of fast food joints around!

What happens for each game?

We don’t expect everyone to have a ticket to every game, but for those that do, we offer return transportation to the stadiums before and after the match. For anyone who hasn’t got a ticket, your Tour Host will accompany you to one of our recommended bars to watch it on a big screen!

Who else will be on tour with me?

Twenty-two other rugby fanatics of all ages (18 and above)! This is a small enough group to keep the trip personal and let you get to know everybody onboard! Accompanying each group is one of our experienced Tour Managers.

What is the accommodation like?

We stay at a selection of hostels and adventure lodges, all of which we are fully familiar with from our Adventure Tours. The standard accommodation is dorm based (4 sharing) but you can choose to upgrade to a private double or twin with ensuite. Every hostel/lodge is of a slightly lower quality to a 3 star hotel, but is clean, good quality and has a full range of facilities including internet, lounge and TV, kitchen, and reception.

I want to upgrade my accommodation for myself and my companion. Do we need to both pay the upgrade fee?

No, the cost to upgrade to a twin or double room with ensuite is price for an individual in a double room or two people in a double/twin. Therefore if two of you are sharing, only one of you needs to add and pay for the upgrade. There is no single supplement for people on their own.
